Baked Pizza Sandwich

4 Ounces Sandwich Pepperoni
4 Green Bell Pepper Rings
4 Tomato Slices
6 Slices Provolone Cheese

Combine butter, Italian seasoning, and garlic in a small bowl. Spread mixture on one half of bread shell. Layer with pepperoni, green pepper, tomato and cheese. Top with remaining half on bread shell. Wrap in aluminum foil and place on baking sheet. Bake at 350 degrees for 18 minutes or until cheese is melted. Cut into 4 sections and serve warm.

Yield: 4 servings

Split Pea Soup

1 (16 Ounce) Package Dried Split Peas
2 Cups Ham, Diced
1 Cup Carrots, Diced
1 Medium Onion, Chopped
2 Cloves Garlic, Minced
2 Bay Leaves
½ Teaspoon Salt
½ Teaspoon Pepper
5 Cups Boiling Water
Milk

Layer all ingredients except milk in a slow cooker. Cover and cook on high heat for 4 to 5 hours. Stir in milk until soup reaches desired consistency; discard bay leaves.

Yield: 4 servings

Striped-Cookie Dessert

2 Cups Buttermilk
16 Ounces Whipped Topping
2 Small Packages Instant Vanilla Pudding
2 Small Cans Mandarin Oranges, Drained
1 Package Fudge-Striped Cookies, Frozen and Crushed

Combine all ingredients except cookies. Refrigerate until ready to serve. Stir in cookies just before serving.

Yield: 10 to 12 servings
